Many accidents are down to children running into glass. Mainly  because they haven’t spotted it.  Specially children not living in the dwelling.  Ordinary glass is extremely dangerous because it breaks into jagged pieces that cause serious injuries.  I recommend stick-on safety film, as it prevents glass splinters and is easy to install.
